Cyrus Davis, who spent most of his life on his farm north of Brownsvalley, died at his home in Lebanon on Saturday at the age of 88 years and 6 months. He was the grandfather of Chas. Patton and the uncle of F.M. Conner. Mr. and Mrs. Conner and Mr. Patton and Miss Eulalia attended the funeral at Brownsvalley on Monday. The funeral was preached by a son-in-law, Rev. John Kendall of Dana. Interment in Dana. -- kbz
